MED4Youth project’s partner University of Parma participated in the 16th European Public Health Conference in Dublin, Ireland, from 8th – 11th of November.

Francesca Scazzina, Associate Professor of human nutrition at the Department of Food and Drug of the University of Parma, participated in the workshop “Obesity: the greatest burden of the 21st Century and the post-pandemic” held within the conference. During this session, she delivered the presentation “Childhood obesity”, introducing MED4Youth as a key European project aimed at tackling youth obesity. The presentation also mentioned the MED4Youth’s study, with a special focus on how it was designed and its main objectives.

The European Public Health Conference was organised by the European Public Health Conference Foundation and the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) with the objective to brought together public health associations, institutes and professionals.
